Le Reve, Wynn - Full Details
Unbelievable feats performed by the Cirque de Soleil troupe in and above the water. |
| |
Barry Manilow, Paris (from March)
If this is like his show at the Hilton, you are in for a show that is pure Vegas - screaming fans, showgirls and Mr Manilow still in fine voice.
| |
Gordie Brown, Golden Nugget - Full Details
Without doubt, Geordie is THE most talented impersonator and singer in Vegas, but his act deserves the bigger stage of the Venetian where he previously headlined. So funny he is still worth a visit downtown for though.

| |
Donny & Marie, Flamingo
For those of you old enough to remember Donny & Marie from their heyday, this show is for you. Songs belted out and energetic dance routines from the popular brother and sister act. Have residency here till 2012.

| |
Phantom of the Opera, Venetian
This one will run and run - for Andrew Lloyd Webber fans, you don’t get a much better setting for Phantom than this. |
| |
LOVE, Mirage
Whether or not you are a fan of the Beatles music, this Cirque de Soleil show is often rated one of the best in Vegas. |
| |
The Lion King, Mandalay Bay
Award winning musical that has been seen by 45 million people worldwide. Major production in big arena. |
Cher, Caesars Palace
This is a high octane synthesised (?) singing and dancing extravaganza with a troupe of muscle bound dancers just the support act to Cher’s OTT costumes. |
Terry Fator, Mirage
This ventriloquist is a former winner of America’s Got Talent and was awarded with permanent residency at the Mirage. The American audience LOVE him but the show feels a little too regimented - can’t imagine him going off script unlike Geordie Brown.

O, Bellagio
Was the first Cirque de Soleil water show in Vegas and stunning acts into water set it apart, but has now been overtaken by Le Reve at the Wynn.

Believe, Luxor
One of the newest Cirque de Soleil shows cleverly teaming up with young and cool magician, Criss Angel.

Blue Man Group, Venetian
Known for their funny and irreverent style of humour, the men with blue faces are still packing the crowds in. |

Peepshow, Planet Hollywood
This song and dance burlesque style show opened last year with Mel B headlining. Now has Holly Madison from the Girls of the Playboy Mansion. |

Crazy Horse, MGM
Direct from Paris, this adult review show is unique. The clever lighting hides the dancers modesty despite the audience being almost on top of the stage in this intimate theatre. Show only let down by a strange choice of interval acts.

Jubilee, Ballys
This show is an old style Vegas showgirl production complete with sequins, headdresses and huge sets (the Titanic is the theme of one). The numbers are cheesy but this is the best show to see real Vegas showgirls! |
Ka, MGM
Huge theatre and promotion leads you to believe this is the best Cirque de Soleil production in Vegas, but despite some awesome sets and gravity defying stunts, it still leaves you expecting more. |
Mystere, Treasure Island
Accomplished Cirque de Soleil stunts and visual tricks, but the lack of story lets this production down. |
Zumanity, New York New York
This is the only risqué Cirque de Soleil show in Vegas. Semi nude dancers perform tasteful combination of acrobatics and burlesque. |

Viva Elvis, Aria - NEW! to be rated
Another Cirque de Soleil show but the first to be Vegas themed -
based on the life of Elvis.

Fountains at Bellagio
Without doubt one of the best spectacles on the Strip. Choreographed fountain show put to music which has the passers by and Bellagio guests rooted to the spot. |
Sirens at Treasure Island
4 times a night the crowds pack the pavement to see this pirate themed song and dance show. It is predictable and cheesy but worth seeing if only for the fact it’s free. |

Lake of Dreams at the Wynn
Difficult to get a view unless you are in one of the lakeside restaurants or the outside bar, but the Lake of Dreams water and light show is worth a look. |

Show in the Sky at the Rio
Not on the Strip, but worth a visit as carnival floats suspended above the crowd give a musical spectacle with performing cabaret artists. |

Volcano at Mirage
Surprisingly disappointing. Since its multi million dollar redesign a lot more action was expected but the erupting flames set to rock music are a little lacklustre.
